FCE exam task – Not Only Grammar

We had the end-of-month test in class. Here’s a sample of what the students had to work on. It’s taken from a Cambridge First Certificate Exam past paper. Try it and post your answers in the comments box below. You have nothing to lose!

    1. You have some interesting answers, Qasim. However, the task is to use a variation (and not the opposite, unless you use a prefix) of the word given. For example
      (56) LIFE – “the town comes to life”, meaning that a lot of the activity happens at night and it is probably quiet during the day.
      (57) NOTICING – “you can’t help noticing”, meaning that it is easy to see
