I see too many dead HEDGEHOGS on the roads when I go out for my early morning runs so I think it’s a good idea to have signs such as the one above.
However, there’s a problem with the language – three problems actually.
Can you tell me any of them?
This is still a bit difficult for me hubby. I think the correct way is ” Drive slowly, do not squash me, please.”

Wifey, your corrections make for a better sign. The key points are:
1. slow => slowly
2. period or exclamation mark after slowly (better than a comma)
3. small “n” for not.
A comma before please is optional here.

Hello Sandro,
Maybe I found two problems.
The first is “slow”. In this case we should use slowly. Because slow is adjective.
The second is punctuations. There aren’t punctuations in the sign. I think period should be after “Drive slowly” and comma should be before “please”.
I don’t know why Not isn’t a small letter.

There are a number of different ways of correcting the sign. The main problems, which you have noted, are:
1. slow => slowly
2. period or exclamation mark after slowly
3. small “n” for not.
A comma before please is optional here.
